Over Half A Century's Legacy

From Humble Beginnings to a Generational Legacy: Our Remarkable Journey in Storage Solutions

In 1946 , Floyd and Mary West started West Brothers Transfer. The company began as a small package delivery firm that serviced Raleigh, NC. In 1954, Floyd and Mary started moving furniture locally and within the state of North Carolina. Shortly thereafter, they added distribution services for Kellogg’s and Elbow Macaroni. More growth occurred with the addition of contract delivery agreements with Avon Products, Stanley Home Products, Roadway Express and IBM.
In 1974 Floyd and Mary’s sons Craig and Tommy West purchased the company
In 1979 came the addition of trailer rental and a significant enlargement of the warehousing and trucking divisions.
In 1994 All American-West Brothers Moving and Storage was incorporated becoming an agent for Mayflower Van Lines.
In 1997 Logistic Leasing, LLC formed as a full service truck leasing and contract maintenance company.
In 2008 Containers 4 Less was formed focusing on the rental of 20 and 40 foot storage containers.
Since 2010 West Brothers Transfer & Storage, H&S Division Inc, has been solely focused on providing on-site, high-quality Storage Trailer, Cartage Trailer and Storage Container rentals, serving local businesses in Raleigh NC, and nearby locations within the NC Triangle area.
We now have approximately 1,200 storage trailers and 1,000 storage containers to meet all your on-site storage needs. We are very proud of our professional staff and remain dedicated to being known as a highly reputable, high-performing company that prides itself on serving our customers’ needs.
